অতঃপর সেই তোমরাই পরস্পর খুনাখুনি করছ এবং তোমরা তোমাদের মধ্য হতে এক দলকে তাদের গৃহ হতে বহিস্কার করে দিচ্ছ, তাদের বিরুদ্ধে (শত্রুতা বশতঃ) পাপ ও অন্যায় কাজে সাহায্য করছ এবং তারা বন্দী হয়ে তোমাদের নিকট আনীত হলে তোমরা তাদেরকে বিনিময় প্রদান কর, অথচ তাদেরকে বহিস্কার করা তোমাদের জন্য অবৈধ ছিল, তাহলে কি তোমরা গ্রন্থের কিছু অংশ বিশ্বাস কর এবং কিছু অংশ অবিশ্বাস কর? তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা এরূপ করে তাদের পার্থিব জীবনে দুর্গতি ব্যতীত কিছুই নেই এবং উত্থান দিনে তারা কঠোর শাস্তির দিকে নিক্ষিপ্ত হবে এবং তোমরা যা করছ, তদ্বিষয়ে আল্লাহ অমনোযোগী নন।
