We're representing Bangladesh at the SUAS Competition 2026 - the world's largest collegiate autonomous aerial robotics competition, held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA this September.
For those who don't know what SUAS is: ~75 university teams from around the world - Georgia Tech, Cornell, Istanbul Technical University, Nirma University - compete to build a fully autonomous UAV that can navigate waypoints, detect objects with AI, avoid obstacles, and drop a payload at a precise GPS coordinate. No remote pilot. The drone thinks for itself.
We're building Project FalcryX an 8.7 kg autonomous fixed-wing UAV with a 2.4 m wingspan, 80 minutes of endurance, and a 50 km mission range. Onboard AI runs on an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super. Navigation is centimetre-accurate via RTK GPS. The airframe is hand-built from balsa wood and carbon fibre, right here in Bangladesh.
This isn't a hobby project. This is a 13+ person engineering team -aerodynamics, avionics, embedded software, AI, and operations, treating this like a real aerospace programme.
Bangladesh entered the SUAS world for the first time in 2025. We're the next chapter.
We're currently in active fabrication and SITL simulation. Flight testing begins soon.
If you're a company, engineer, or organisation that believes in homegrown aerospace innovation - we're open to conversations about sponsorship and partnership.
