Another success for community partnership under FLEN's Student Body Team 🛰️

NSU Cybersecurity Center (NSUCSC) - MSME Digital Hygiene and Cybersecurity Awareness Training Program: Cohort 4

On August 22, 2026, FLEN once again stepped up as Community Engagement Partner as NSUCSC rolled out the fourth cohort of its MSME Digital Hygiene and Cybersecurity Awareness Training Program at North South University. Around 20 participants spent the day sharpening their digital defenses, starting with a baseline pre-test, moving through core digital hygiene practices, and diving into hands-on labs covering device security, 2FA setup and spotting real-world threats like phishing attempts and mobile banking scams, including bKash OTP fraud.

The session was graced by Prof. Dr. Shazzad Hosain (Dean, School of Engineering & Physical Sciences - SEPS, North South University & Project Director, NSUCSC), AKM Iqtidar Newaz, Ms. Tanjila Farah and Zarjina Tarana Khalil (Executive Director, NSUCSC), and Moumita Ferdoushi Shorony (Cohort Management Officer, NSUCSC) who shared valuable insights on applied cybersecurity education and community-based clinic models, who brought valuable insight into applied cybersecurity education and community-based training models, the kind of knowledge that turns into real protection for real businesses.

A special thanks to FLEN's Student Body - Zakia Binte Mustakim Jaka, Noshin Adrita, Walid S., MD Muntasir Kabir, Social Media Management and Media Production Team for once again documenting and amplifying this initiative.

Supported by the APAC Cybersecurity Fund of The Asia Foundation, with backing from Google.org, this initiative is on track to reach at least 300 digitally vulnerable MSMEs and organizations across Bangladesh. FLEN remains proud to volunteer alongside NSUCSC as this mission grows - cohort by cohort, business by business - toward a safer, more cyber-aware Bangladesh.

Another successful event under FLEN's Volunteering Partnership 🛰️

NSU Cybersecurity Center (NSUCSC) - MSME Digital Hygiene and Cybersecurity Awareness Training Program: Cohort 3

On August 7, 2026, FLEN once again stood as Community Engagement Partner as NSUCSC hosted the third cohort of its MSME Digital Hygiene and Cybersecurity Awareness Training Program at North Academic Building (NAC-412), North South University. 20 participants took part in a full day of learning - from a baseline pre-test and sessions on digital hygiene practices to hands-on lab exercises covering device security, 2FA, and identifying threats such as phishing and mobile banking scams, including bKash OTP fraud.

Ex*****on meets innovation. We are incredibly proud to announce the successful conclusion of the NSU Cybersecurity Center NSU Cybersecurity Training Program – Course 2 Cohort 2: Integrated Cybersecurity Framework.

From July 30 to August 8, 2026, the NSU Future Leaders and Entrepreneurs Network (FLEN) was honored to be the official event management and volunteer team, working relentlessly behind the scenes at the state-of-the-art NSU Cyber Lab to ensure a seamless, high-impact experience for the 25 selected participants.

Over six intensive days, we watched these individuals master critical skills, from Professional Workplace Conduct and Threat Modeling to Ethical Hacking, Auditing, and Incident Response aligned with the NIST framework. Real readiness is proven, not assumed, and this cohort proved it.

This initiative was driven by the NSU Cybersecurity Center, in collaboration with The Asia Foundation, developed in partnership with the CyberPeace Institute and Global Cyber Alliance, and supported by Google.org through the APAC Cybersecurity Fund. It is a privilege for FLEN to help facilitate a program that brings internationally recognized, hands-on cybersecurity training to our campus, empowering a cyber-resilient Bangladesh.

Pray for Nepal 🇳🇵🕯️

Devastating flash floods have swept through Nepal, claiming over 362 lives with more than 1,400 still missing. Entire communities have been washed away, families torn apart, and countless people left searching for their loved ones amid the wreckage.

At times like this, words feel small - but solidarity isn't. NSU Future Leaders and Entrepreneurs Network stands with the people of Nepal. Our thoughts are with every family waiting for news, every rescue worker searching through the debris, and every community trying to rebuild from nothing.

To our Nepali friends, students, and neighbors - you are not alone. ❤️

Regarding Digital Service

To our FLEN community - an important update, and an apology.

Back when we ran FLEN's first-ever giveaway, 43 members were selected to receive complimentary digital products worth over 10,000 Taka - including 32 Canva Edu Pro and 11 Amazon Prime Video subscriptions. These were generously provided by our then Community Provider, Digital Arise, and were communicated as being available for a full year.

We regret to inform you that, despite our continued efforts to sustain this benefit on your behalf, access to these services - including Canva, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube Premium - was discontinued after 8 months instead of the promised 12. This fell short of what we committed to, and we take that seriously.

To every member affected by this early discontinuation, we sincerely apologize. Trust is something FLEN works hard to build with its 7,000+ community, and we recognize that consistent follow-through on our promises is central to that.

We'd also like to formally inform our community that Digital Arise is no longer affiliated with FLEN as a Community Provider. As a direct result, FLEN will be discontinuing its free and discounted digital service offerings going forward, including any previously announced renewal upgrades through Digital Arise.

We understand this is disappointing news, especially for members who came to rely on or look forward to these perks. Please know this wasn't a decision we made lightly, and it doesn't reflect any lack of commitment to our community - only a necessary step to ensure that what we offer going forward is something we can fully stand behind.

FLEN remains dedicated to finding new, more sustainable ways to create value for our members - whether through training programs, partnerships, career opportunities, or future community initiatives. We'll keep you informed as these take shape.

Today we celebrate someone who truly holds FLEN together - our backbone, our beauty, and one of the boldest leaders we've had the privilege to work alongside.

As Sub-Executive Officer and Director of External Affairs (DEA), Ayesha leads with a rare mix of courage and grace. She doesn't wait for direction - she creates it. Whether she's building bridges with partners, guiding her team through a demanding week, or stepping in exactly where she's needed most, she does it with a confidence that lifts everyone around her.

And she does everything. Strategy, communication, outreach, Media, Directing, content, coordination, crisis-handling - there isn't a corner of FLEN she hasn't strengthened with her presence. A genuine all-rounder in every sense, and an influencer whose voice carries far beyond our community.

Beyond the titles, she's the warmth in our meetings, the calm in our chaos, and the encouragement that keeps this team moving forward. FLEN is bolder, brighter, and better because she chose to lead it.

The Board of Maestros (BoM) is now open.

Not every seat at FLEN is meant for everyone. This one especially isn't.

After the Executive Body and the Directors, Managerial stands as the second most authoritative tier in FLEN's structure - a body we call the Board of Maestros (BoM). A Maestro does not handle a task. A Maestro does not handle a team. A Maestro handles an entire department - its people, its output, its standards, and its results.

Five departments. Ten teams. Five Maestros.
