Bangladesh grows the crop. The system breaks between the field and the market.

Prices fall at harvest. Storage is missing. Buyers can't find reliable supply, and finance partners can't see delivery they can trust.

Climbing a coconut palm barehanded, twenty feet up, for a harvest that might not even pay fair.

That's the daily reality for many coconut farmers in Bagerhat. Coconut Coast is bringing in proper climbing tools, de-huskers, and safety training, alongside new saplings and direct buyer connections, so farmers can harvest safely and actually profit from what they grow.

5,000 farmers trained. 130 tools deployed. 10,000 new trees planted.

Rural Bangladesh doesn't need another bank account. It needs its own money back.

Villages put more into the banking system than they get back in loans. Families stay banked, but they rarely own the assets that actually build income, land, equipment, a proper stall, a cold room. Having an account isn't the same as having a stake.

In Gazipur, a sweater unit runs four machines, employs 18 workers, and takes orders from bigger factories. To the bank, none of that counts. No land title, no loan.

This is hardly an exception. Most small businesses in Bangladesh look exactly like this: real, running, yet still invisible to the credit system.

The law already allows machinery and orders to count as collateral, banks just aren't using it yet.

Village savings anchor a huge part of our banking system. But that money doesn't loop back to rural communities at the same scale, leaving families financially stuck even while they're doing everything right.

As new banking rules tighten, we risk squeezing the very communities holding up the system.

56,500+ biogas plants installed in Bangladesh. How many are still lit today? Nobody could say for sure, until now.

A digester on the ground isn't the same as gas in the kitchen a year later. Our new national policy paper looks past installation counts to ask the real question: is the family still using it, still saving money, still safe?

The answer shapes how Bangladesh should fund clean energy going forward, pay for results, not just equipment.

On land that shifts with every flood, resilience can't be an afterthought. It has to be built in.

The Eco Char Project has launched in the chars of Gaibandha. Solar-powered resilience centres, early warning support, telemedicine, safe water, women-led enterprise, all working together to help communities in Fazlupur and Fulchhari adapt and rebuild.

Char communities are often only spoken about through vulnerability. This project starts somewhere else: they already have the strength to shape their own future. We're just helping build what that takes.

The launch is done. The field work starts now.

The story of Bangladesh's agriculture is still being written in the field, not in reports.

We started Cultivera to make sure the people writing it, smallholder farmers, producers, rural entrepreneurs, get infrastructure to back their work, not just goodwill.

Farmers grow. Buyers need supply. Finance needs delivery it can trust. We build the links between them.

From the first signature to the first flame, this is where it all started.

Project Green Flame brought biogas to rural households in Bangladesh, backed by City Bank and built on verified carbon credits. Eksathe Foundation helped families turn the byproduct into real income instead of waste.

This was Cultivera's first community investment project. Everything we've learned since started right here.
