Today, we tried making Fuchka at home—and the taste somehow brought back that unmistakable flavour of Bangladesh. 🇧🇩❤ī¸

Fuchka is more than just a street food. It’s a part of our childhood, evening hangouts, roadside conversations, and countless little memories. Across the Indian subcontinent, you’ll find different versions of this beloved snack—Fuchka, Pani Puri, Golgappa—each with its own regional identity and flavours.

But for us Bangladeshis, that perfect combination of crispy shells, spicy mashed potato filling, tangy tamarind water, and a hint of sweetness is something that simply tastes like home.

Living far away from Bangladesh, sometimes a simple plate of Fuchka can bring an entire country closer. đŸĨšâ¤ī¸

And today, we brought a little taste of home to our kitchen in Perth. 🇧🇩✨
