For our latest 𝑴𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕, we would like to introduce Andy Josuweit.
graduated with over $74,000 in student loan debt, which ballooned to over $105,000 after defaulting on some payments. After years of dealing with unhelpful services, debt collectors, and banks, he decided to create something that would help people in his situation. He created Student Loan Hero, a resource which has helped over 200,000 borrowers manage and eliminate over $3.5 billion in student loan debt.
The company went on to be acquired by LendingTree for $60M.
He has also written extensively on student loan policies and personal finance for Millennials.
Andy is now currently investing and advising new companies!

That might actually be a good thing—if their 401(k) accounts are set up properly.

Everyone is interested in finding the latest gadgets and hacks to optimize their workplace productivity and output.
Work performance, a highly subjective term, essentially comes down to finding ways to maximize the use of time, energy, and results, as these are things that can be both measured and used as a marker for productivity.
Search results for the term ‘work performance’ yield millions of results, so knowing where to begin can be tough.
However, this article lays out a solid starting point.

In the latest Wise Millennial Podcast, we were excited to welcome Kayleigh Christina, the Co-Founder and COO of Clearstem, a nontoxic anti-ageing and anti-acne skincare line.
Kayleigh is an inspiring leader in the entrepreneurship and wellness industry. As a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, published author, podcaster, and investor of wellness-based brands, Kayleigh has a deep passion for making a positive impact in other people’s lives.
Her journey into the skincare world began when she developed numerous health issues for which she tried in vain to find cures. After countless doctors, dermatologists, and specialists she took matters into her own hands, going on to partner with co-founder Danielle Gronich.
Through her healing, the duo discovered their mutual passion for helping other acne sufferers achieve clear skin through internal and external methods without sacrificing their health. That’s when Clearstem Skincare was born.
The podcast covers a range of issues and will undoubtedly resonate with everyone.

In the latest Millennial Spotlight, we would like to shout out Humphrey Yang.
Yang is a former Wall Streeter and financial advisor with Merrill Lynch. He has since gone on to found Craft & Oak and become a prolific content creator.
Shocked by the amount of terrible financial advice available on Tik Tok and other platforms, he draws on his experience to demystify intimidating personal finance concepts and provide solid financial advice in creative ways across multiple platforms.
Money.com explains: “...he’ll dip slightly into the details of market vs. limit stock orders, but he’ll also swiftly list options for where to invest $100, rattling off pros and cons backed by serious know-how without the long spiel.”

𝟏. 𝐄𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡
We’ve all heard the phrase, “breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” It’s true. Studies have shown that eating breakfast can help with improved memory, recall, mood, and visual-motor functions.

𝟐.) 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐰-𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭
There is nothing wrong with knocking out the obvious & easy things. Getting these easier tasks done will give you a sense of accomplishment. You can leverage this sense of accomplishment to help you tackle some harder tasks

𝟑.) 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬
Studies concluded that while taking short breaks throughout the working day may not have as obvious an impact as taking a holiday, they can still yield significant benefits such as reduced stress & helping to maintain performance throughout the day.

𝟒. 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐔𝐩𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐬
Another way to improve your motivation is to listen to some upbeat tunes. Music has been shown to have a direct effect on the listener. Studies show that listening to music while you work can lead to an “increase in both mood and quality of work”

𝟓.) 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨
We all love to be rewarded, especially when we are doing something we don’t want to do. Giving yourself something to look forward to is the way to guarantee that you will be rewarded for the hard work of getting through the day.
