Job Title: Backend Engineer (Python/Django)

We are building high-performance systems that handle massive data, real-time processing, and multiple external integrations. Now, we are expanding our engineering team.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable backend code using Python (Django)
2. Build and manage Celery-based background jobs and queue systems
3. Handle and optimize large-scale databases (100GB+) with proper monitoring
4. Integrate and manage external APIs and third-party services
5. Work with PostgreSQL (SQL) and MongoDB (NoSQL) databases
6. Monitor servers, background workers, and database performance
7. Collaborate with senior engineers on microservice-based architecture
8. Use Docker and containerized environments in development and deployment
9. Work with REST APIs, webhooks, and service-to-service communication
10. Occasionally assist with frontend tasks when required
Requirements
1. Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience
Strong expertise in Python (Django preferred)
2. Practical experience with Celery, task queues, and async processing
3. Experience managing and optimizing large databases (100GB+)
4. Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean code practices
5. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
6. Experience using Git for version control
7. Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization
8. Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to write efficient logic
9. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
Nice to Have
1. Experience with message queuing systems
2. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
3. Prior experience with microservices architecture
4. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Salary Range
30K to 50K BDT. (based on experiences)
