Differnt Shrimp HP colours due to different types of chromotophores / Pigments.
If its white colour chromotophores are called as leucophores
If its is black colour chromotophores are called as Melonophores
If its Red colour the chromotophores are called Erythrophores
If its Orange or yellow the chromotophores are called as xanthophores.
This pigments are called Carotenoids/
Astaxanthin.
Generally when we looks the outside the HP is in white / black/ Red / orange/ yellow is not an issue.
When we open the HP, inside the HP is in white colour is the indication of the starting stage of the disease outbreak. If may be white faeces/ RMS / Vibrios.
In general the outer side of the White colour HP its not an issue.
Its influenced by the Leucophores chromotophores/ pigment.
