Call for Contribution: A New E-Book about Small-Scale Fisheries and Small-Scale Fish Farming of Nepal
We are excited to announce the forthcoming publication of an e-book focusing on small-scale fisheries and small-scale fish farming in Nepal, to be published in the TBTI Global Publication Series (https://tbtiglobal.net/publications/). We cordially invite you to contribute your valuable insights and expertise to this collaborative project.
About the E-book
This E-book aims to consolidate widely scattered information about small-scale fisheries and small-scale fish farming in Nepal into a single volume. The content of the E-book will also be integrated into the web-based, open-access Information System on Small-Scale Fisheries (ISSF; https://issfcloud.toobigtoignore.net/) developed by TBTI. As a contributor, you will have the opportunity to share your unique perspectives, experiences, and knowledge about small-scale fisheries and small-scale fish farming in Nepal, and be properly recognized for your contribution as the author of your respective chapter.
Why Contribute?
Visibility: Your contribution will be showcased to a diverse, national and international audience, allowing you to expand your reach and influence.
Collaboration: Join forces with other thought leaders and professionals in the field, fostering a community of shared knowledge and expertise.
Impact: Contribute to a valuable resource that will benefit readers seeking information on small-scale fisheries and small-scale fish farming.
Influence: More knowledge about small-scale fisheries and small-scale fish farming means better decisions. Your contribution can influence how they are managed and governed.
Submission Guidelines:
We are looking for various types of submissions, from research-based articles to short stories and experiences, and cultural and artistic expressions. We strongly encourage work related to the history of small-scale fisheries and fish farming in Nepal and how they are managed, values and importance of small-scale fisheries and small-scale farming, as well as commentaries and interviews with fishers and fish farmers.
Contributors can also choose to contribute by completing either one or both of the attached questionnaire templates: “20 Questions about Small-Scale Fisheries” and “Blue Justice Template.” Data completed using the templates will be entered in ISSF, in addition to being part of the e-book.
