In the last few days both Facebook and LinkedIn have been the subject of a data leak in which millions of records of users became available online. This is yet another proof that email protection is crucial because companies can become victim to a data leak if a malicious email reaches an employee. Dat de medische sector in deze uitdagende COVID-19 tijden het doelwit is voor cyberattacks, is ondertussen wel duidelijk. Na AML in Antwerpen, nu ook ziekenhuis in Doornik plat na cyberaanval.

ChWapi, het ziekenhuiscentrum van Picardisch Wallonië in Doornik, is het slachtoffer geworden van een cyberaanval. Alle niet-dringende operaties zijn vandaag geannuleerd. Er is geen losgeld gevraagd, zegt de communicatiedienst.
