No, design is not art! It is a creative process in subsequent steps of acquired insights to achieve relevant innovation through combining ratio with emotion. And it should bring extra value in 4 dimensions: feasability, viability, acceptability and maybe a core expertise for designers: desirability! So if it is an art, design is the art of common sense!
