Some took on the challenge individually, while others participated in handisport alongside young David, highly motivated and a member of the Les enfants du Creb.
For everyone, this edition was a great experience and a real success in terms of donations.

After the cancellation of the 2021 edition due to COVID-19, it’s been nearly a decade since Florennes Air Base last hosted a major international airshow. That’s why we’re especially excited to welcome you back for this exceptional event, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Belgian Air Force.

For almost a year, the 2nd Tactical Wing has been working hard to bring together prestigious aerobatic teams and a wide range of Belgian and international aircraft past and present both in the air and on static display.

Highlights include the iconic 5th-generation F-35A and the MQ-9B remotely piloted aircraft. A dedicated exhibition will also showcase the rich history of our Air Force over the past 80 years.

At the beginning of April, 21 airmen and airwomen motivated to support the Belgian Special Operations Forces began the Basic Air Enabler Course at the Commando Training Centre.

After an intensive 8‑week program, conducted in parallel with the Basic SOF Course for Cadre Para‑Commando candidates, 18 participants successfully graduated. They received their certificates from the Commanding Officer of the Commando Training Centre, in the presence of the Director SOCOM, the Commanding Officer 1 Wing, and their fellow peers from the 2024 and 2025 sessions.

Thanks to the support of many Special Operations Regiment and Air Force Subject Matter Experts, the Belgian SOF AIR community for both the 23rd SOF STOL Squadron and the 18th SOF LUH Squadron continues to grow.
