👵 Nostalgia strikes!

20% of our Belgian alumnae showed up for informal food and drinks!

To get into the good old Ormit Talent vibe, we invited these familiar faces to our offices and it was a success!

We've sent our alumnae quarterly pulse checks in the past couple of years. Additionally, they can attend at least one Ormit Talent event per year.

This pays off! Once part of the Ormit Talent family, always part of the Ormit Talent family.

Thank you Thomas De Wulf for guiding and inspiring these exceptional individuals throughout the years!

Design Thinking is not a tool. It's a mindset.

🦎To be a Design Thinker is a bit like being a Chameleon.

You need to understand what’s going on around you, define what’s needed, think of which colors can help you achieve what needs to be done, play with those colors and test whether it works.

As environments and needs change continuously, you need to stay alert in order to adjust colors in time.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of teaching yet another pool of trainees about the in-and-outs of Design Thinking.

What an experience!

Ready to make 2023 a success? To stay on track with your good resolutions? Here are 8 tips!

𝟏. 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫
Many people make up good intentions in a moment. Because others ask for them, for example. Real change, however, starts from reflection. So take a look at yourself over the past year: What are you proud of? What would you like to do differently?

𝟐. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞
Everyone wants to remove bad habits. But what about adding good ones? Easier to maintain right?

𝟑. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐓
Make your resolutions specific and measurable. What does it mean to eat healthier? To learn something new? Determine KPIs to measure your success at the end of the year.

And it all began in Babylonia. As a way to favor the gods. With something very simple. A promise to return borrowed materials.

In ancient Rome, this became a promise to treat others better and today, we know it as a wish for personal improvement over the next year.
