Every time I go to it’s an inspiring and uplifting experience ! Especially in company of the exuberant and the elegant Mourad Brooks.

Thursday was invited to the event: Can a Business Be Feminist? Rethinking Capitalism and “the Economy” to reflect on 🪷What does it mean to run a feminist business in an economy where the rules were designed with profit first and everything else second? 🪷 And is it even possible for a business to be “feminist” within today’s capitalist structures?

Feminist economist explored these big questions at the centre of her doctoral work. And we worked our minds and bodies with debate and dancing !! A perfect way to celebrate the Spring Equinox and the start of six months of light, hope and harmony 🪷 And like always at The Nine connected with a new fabulous female

International women’s day events kicked off today with Members of the European Parliament talking about patriarchy and fairness. Stepped outside into sunny Brussels and noticed these deep gnarled roots of the patriarchy, in this tree. One day a year people talk about women’s rights yet every other day of the year women and children (and men) suffer.

This is not a conflict, it’s choosing a future of peace and love. End war. End toxic masculinity.
