Today is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, so the ideal time to remind you of next week’s Society of Women Engineers virtual networking event. The event is on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 17:00 CET and is open to women in STEM careers or studies and those active in talent development, recruitment or DE&I initiatives.

The Exempla team are all proud parents to wonderful young girls. So on the UN's International Day of the Girl Child we show our determination to provide them the chance to learn and follow whatever career paths excite them most, whether it's engineering, geology, robotics, architecture or anything else.

Working with associations shows us how many opportunities there are for rewarding careers in a multitude of important and innovative sectors – however – access to education, a positive environment and role models are key.

We are fortunate to have all these but this is not always the case so we wanted to highlight the importance of equal access for equal chances.
