2027 marks the Year of the Goat in the Chinese lunar calendar. In Chinese culture, the goat is often associated with gentleness, kindness, auspiciousness and abundance, carrying wishes for a peaceful life, family harmony and a bright future. ✨
🌍 The Global Zodiac Design Competition Belgium 2027 invites creators in China, Belgium and across Europe to explore Chinese zodiac and Spring Festival culture through contemporary design, fine-art creation and AI-assisted artistic expression.
The 2027 Competition welcomes the following types of works:
🎨 Graphic Design and Fine Arts: illustrations, posters, visual identity systems, festive applications, IP characters, Chinese painting, watercolor, oil painting, printmaking, mixed media and other innovative visual expressions.
🤖 AI Design: digital art, static visuals or dynamic short videos created using AI generation or AI-assisted methods. A creative statement is required, including the tools used, core prompts or parameters, and the creator’s direction and refinement process.
🏛️ Selected works may be featured in showcases in Brussels to ring in the Spring Festival 2027.
