How do you tease a grand reveal in style?

At EMO Hannover, UNITED MACHINING SOLUTIONS transformed their stand into an experience using sheer fabrics and perfectly synchronised reveal technology.

The booth was fully concealed with 180 running metres of white Voile CS and PolarisVoile CS, instantly creating curiosity on the trade show floor. The translucent drapes offered visitors a subtle sneak peek, with logos remaining visible behind the curtains from the outside.

Meanwhile, projections of the new brand identity and a live countdown transformed the sheer fabrics into a large-scale visual canvas from within.

And then came the big reveal.

At the push of a button, 9 HiSpeed Reveal and Kabuki systems from the ShowTex rental range made the drapes disappear simultaneously, creating the dramatic unveiling experience the customer had hoped for.

First impressions at a product launch last about one second.

Enter Kabuki and HiSpeed Reveal by ShowTex.

Together, they create the sniffer effect: a reveal so fast, the fabric seems to disappear in mid-air.

The result? The audience doesn't see a curtain drop. They see a moment.
Exactly what product launches are built for.

Some exhibitions stay with you long after your visit.
Not only because of what you saw, but because of how the space made you feel.

A ceiling that seems to float overhead. Light softened by translucent fabric. Curved walls that quietly guide your movement. Large-scale prints that pull you into another world.

In museums and exhibitions, textile often shapes emotion, rhythm and atmosphere.

What happens when fashion, textile and spatial design merge into one immersive experience?

For the exhibition "Wi Sranan. Surinamese Art in Transition" at Museum Cobra, artist Meredith Joeroeja used translucent red and white Voile CS sheers by ShowTex Nederland.

A glowing red textile volume invites visitors inside for an intimate video experience, while the outer walls become the stage for fashion silhouettes displayed on mannequins.

The result?
A scenographic installation where colour, transparency and movement subtly guided visitors through the exhibition.

Lightweight, elegant and permanently flame-retardant, Voile CS helps museums and exhibition designers create temporary environments that feel both refined and technically reliable.

Every exhibition begins with an idea.

Through light, sound, projection, and carefully chosen materials, that idea evolves into a space that sparks curiosity, emotion, and connection.

From immersive installations to permanent galleries, museums around the world create experiences that invite people to see, feel, and discover something new.

This International Museum Day, we celebrate everyone who helps bring these spaces to life: curators, artists, designers, technicians, educators, and cultural institutions worldwide.

Thank you for creating places where stories, knowledge, and creativity continue to inspire future generations.

Happy International Museum Day from the ShowTex family!

What if your projection surface could do more than display content?✨

At the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026, a curved FP High Contrast Grey border extends the visuals beyond the central media surface, creating a clean and continuous flow.

Installed by People&Co. and ShowTex MEA, the result goes beyond a standard projection surface.

The border frames the content, boosts perceived contrast, and reinforces the sculptural shape of the stage design.
