A bit of history:
Deejaybooking.com was created by Youri Cocquyt, who started of as a promoter in the late eighties, early nineties (1988-92) with the Decadance parties promoting late New Beat and early House music. He co-ran the company 'Dance Promotion' mainly developing the 'Rave Explosion' party concept, a pioneer organisation in the development of the techoscene in Belgium (1992-96) introducing many upcoming International producers such as Jeff Mills, Blake Baxter, Stacey Pullen, Laurent Garnier, Felix Da Housecat, Dave Clarke, Richie Hawtin, John Acquaviva, Luke Slater, Robert Hood and Sven Vath for the first time in Belgium. The respect he gained from his initiaves as a party organiser led Youri Cocquyt to work as a label manager at Play It Again Sam Records in Brussel in charge of club promotion for labels such as Warp, Dance Opera and Mowax. In his second year at P.I.A.S., he created and developed, together with Felix da Housecat, the legendary Chicago house label Radikal Fear producing 22 releases of artists Spanky, Mike Dunn, Armando (R.I.P.), Roy Davis Jnr. , DJ Sneak, K Alexi Shelby, Johnny Fiasco, Harrison Crump and of course Felix da Housecat himself. End 1996 he co-created Future Sound Productions, producing and marketing the Future Sound compilations and launching the Detroit techno label 'Elypsia Records' producing albums and singles of Stacey Pullen, Kenny Larkin, Dan Curtin and Claude Young. Ever evolving, dynamic, creative and inspired by his experiences and the relationship he had built with his artists, Youri created S.O.U.L. Management in 1998, organizing events at clubs such as Café d'Anvers, Silo, Who's Who's Land, Mirano a.o and launching the booking agency and website Deejaybooking.com late 1999. Other projects recently launched under S.O.U.L. Management are the record label SOUL MGMT Records (2006). Finally in December 2010, the event concept 'We Love House' and website www.welovehouse.com were born. All this is precisely why Deejaybooking.com knows well the promoters expectations, their needs, their rights... a deep link for a better result.
