The Betacowork is the baby of Ramon Suarez and the Betagroup. It was born as the Betagroup Coworking Brussels, but from the very begining we have been referring to it as the Betacowork in social media ( is our account in Twitter, we use Betacowork in Facebook, and we use to tag our events.) To make it easier for people to see the difference and refer to the different initiatives, we have decided to only use Betacowork as our brand name.

Yesterday’s Agentic Startup weekend was an absolutely amazing experience.

Saturday, we started with the introductions, then split into two groups. On Sunday, everyone presented what they had built.

We would like to thank Kevin Jackson and Andrew Yourtchenko for helping the beginner and advanced groups. Another thank you to Jean-Christophe Cuvelier for his outstanding presentation.

Given the positive feedback, we will definitely be doing this again.

We are thrilled to announce that Jean-Christophe Cuvelier of Wellmade will attend the Startup weekend to briefly discuss AI Sovereignty.

Next weekend, Betacowork is hosting a startup weekend on Saturday, May 16th, through Sunday, May 17th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (both dates).

We’ll kick off Saturday morning with an introductory session for beginners and a guided OpenClaw installation. From there, the weekend mixes short best‑practices sessions with small‑team project work. You can automate a workflow inside an existing business, automate a new business or build something entirely experimental.

On Sunday afternoon, we wrap up with a friendly pitch battle where teams and solo founders demo what they’ve built and share tools and learnings from the weekend
