For the construction of new projects throughout EU, we are looking for Quality Control electrical engineers who will based on the site office in the country of the assignment.
As a Quality Control electrical engineer you are responsible of the daily survey of production on site, of a large site project and you report directly to the Project Manager.

Job description:

You coordinate and manage all QA/QC related tasks as described below:

• Schedule tests according to test standards and qualification plans and anticipate their preparation
• Conduct internal tests in compliance with programs, procedures and safety rules
• Organize, in liaison with customers or applicants, external tests, ensure their follow-up and operation
• Ensure that products and services meet customer standards
• Expert technical support if needed
• Control of Employer’s Requirements implementation during production
• Reporting to Employer (frequency and reporting template to be agreed)
• Registering of observations/punches in the provided software
• Following of Technical Query, Technical Modification and Non Conformity Report
• Registering of observations on HSE topics

Desired Skills and Experience

• You have a Bachelor degree(BAC+5) or Master degree(BAC+4+2) in electrical engineering;
• You have proven a track record with a least 5 years of relevant working experience on major construction projects in civil, marine & infrastructure works;
• Have at least 3 years of experience in audit, inspection, test and surveillance
• Have their “Safety trainings/certifications” up to date (e.g. Confined Space, Work at Height…).
• You identify with our core competencies by possessing an entrepreneurial mind, showing flexibility, being innovative and result-oriented while promoting teamwork
• You continuously look to do things better and you anticipate problems.
• You possess excellent communication skills, an analytical mind and you are client focused;
• You are fluent in English and have intermediate proficiency in French

• Expediting the actual program
• Control of Employer’s Requirements implementation during production
• Reporting to Employer (frequency and reporting template to be agreed)
• Registering of observations/punches in the provided software
• Following of Technical Query, Technical Modification and Non Conformity Report
• Registering of observations on HSE topics

• The scope of surveillance for the steel structure is as detailed below:
o Inspection and Test Plans review and comments (for each factory at kick off of the contract )
o Review of the production documents of contractor and subcontractors
• Before start-up of production :
o Pre-fabrication audit at the manufacturer site
o Welding book (including WPS, WPQR, welding map…)
o Status of fabrication tools/machines (calibration, maintenance…)
o Non-destructive procedures
o Operator qualifications
o Painting procedures
• During and after fabrication :
o Steel Material certificates
o Filler metal and flux certificates
o Operator qualifications
o Welding parameter records
o Non-destructive test records
o Dimensional records
• Competencies needed:
o Mechanical: for steel inspections
o Welding
o Painting
• Expediting the actual program
• Control of Employer’s Requirements implementation during production
• Reporting to Employer (frequency and reporting template to be agreed)
• Registering of observations/punches in the provided software
• Registering of observations on HSE topics

Desired Skills and Experience
• You have a Bachelor degree(BAC+5) or Master degree(BAC+4+2) in welding engineering;
• You have proven a track record with a least 5 years of relevant working experience on major construction projects in civil, marine & infrastructure works;
• For welding operations : you are certified/qualified engineer according to IWS (International Welding Institute) as International welding inspector or international welding Engineer or equivalent.
• For the Non Destructive Tests (NDT) : you are certified/qualified according EN473 or EN9712 level 2 minimum for the corresponding NDT method (e.g. Ultrasonic inspection, Magnetic particle inspection, dye penetrant inspection, X ray).
• For the painting operations : you are certified/qualified according to FROSIO level 3 or NACE CIP2 or equivalent.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in audit, inspection, test and surveillance
• Have their “Safety trainings/certifications” up to date (e.g. Confined Space, Work at Height…).
• You identify with our core competencies by possessing an entrepreneurial mind, showing flexibility, being innovative and result-oriented while promoting teamwork
