On The Level

In a world where our attention is constantly being pulled in different directions and the individual seems to take centre stage, human relationships are increasingly under pressure. That feeling gradually found its way into (subtext). The title refers to what lies beneath the surface of a message, to everything that passes between people without ever being said out loud. In that sense, (subtext) becomes a metaphor for our ongoing attempt to understand one another.

JAKOMO’s second full length album (subtext) will be released on 20.11.2026 on On The Level

On ‘Sootherland Hotel’ Lisette trades the youthful urgency of his earlier work for something equally intense, yet softer and more assured. A debut album about starting over, growing up, and discovering that one perfectly placed note can sometimes hit harder than a guitar being smashed to pieces.

As always, Lisette played every instrument himself, with Felix Machtelinckx by his side as a producer and sounding board.

Lisette’s debut album ‘Sootherland Hotel’ will be released on 23.10.2026 on On The Level.

Three years after her previous album, Catbug returns with a new record. While its predecessor ‘Musjemeesje’ was born out of a sense of wonder for the nature surrounding the farmhouse where she lived, ‘Was ons kwijt in mij’ grew from a far more personal necessity. Never before has Paulien written an album so closely tied to one specific period in her life.

Catbug’s fourth album, Was ons kwijt in mij, will be released on September 25, 2026, and you can pre-order this masterpiece now via the link below.
