• • Turns out I didn’t need better noise-cancelling headphones. It was an extra room :)

I didn’t realise how much all the noise, movement and stuff around me was affecting the way I worked until I couldn’t really work anymore.

Or at least not in the way I need to work to make things.

I need to mess around. Draw things that go nowhere. Look things up. Print them. Change my mind. Sharpen pencils. Stare at things for a bit. :)

So when the tiny atelier next door became available, Cornelia and I started thinking.

Taking on extra space definitely wasn’t the most obvious decision. But it felt right.

And while I was away this summer, Cornelia Boudens basically reorganised everything.

Now the stock is on one side. We’re on the other.
It’s still a little empty. But I can think here.

And apparently, that’s quite important. :)

• Three months ago, I decided to step away from Instagram for a while.

Meanwhile, Wolvis kept moving, thanks to my colleagues Cornelia Boudens and Isabeau Goddé. They are GOLD. 💛

But from now on, I’m taking it back. Hi :) 👋

It feels exciting. A little strange too.

Because quite a lot has changed in those three months. At Wolvis, in our atelier, in our team, in the way we work. (And in me too.)

There’s a lot I haven’t shared yet. And a lot I want to show you.

So I guess this is a good place to start :)
