Today is International Print Day, and we’re celebrating the step that comes right before ours.

Printing and cutting go hand in hand. So much of what runs through a Summa cutter started on a printer: the sticker sheet, the vehicle decal, the window graphic or the display board. The printer brings the idea to life in color. We give it its final shape!

So here's to the people who come up with the ideas. To the people who turn those ideas into reality. And to the tools that make the work faster, more reliable, and easier on the operator.

Première édition pour Pixelia, et deux machines Summa sur le salon.

Les 14 et 15 octobre à Rennes, nos partenaires Dupli Data et DMBA ont présenté sur leurs stands une table de découpe F1612 (F Series) et un plotter S One D160 (S Series). La F1612 a transformé des feuilles imprimées en pièces finies sous les yeux des visiteurs : l'étape qui décide si un travail est prêt à livrer, et celle qu'un salon permet rarement d'observer de près.

Pixelia réunit agences, imprimeurs et studios créatifs du Grand Ouest. Voir la finition en direct a donné à ces échanges un point de départ concret.

Merci à Dupli Data et DMBA d'avoir accueilli nos machines, et merci à toutes celles et ceux qui sont passés sur les stands.

On October 14 and 15 in Rennes, our partners Dupli Data and DMBA demonstrated an F1612 flatbed from the F Series and an S One D160 roll cutter from the S Series on their booths. The F1612 cut printed sheets into finished pieces in front of visitors: the step that decides whether a job is ready to deliver, and one a print show rarely lets you watch up close.

Pixelia brings together agencies, print shops, and creative studios from western France. Having finishing live on the floor gave those conversations something concrete to point at.
