Today, we had the opportunity to attend an insightful and interactive workshop hosted by BDO Belgium

During the session, we learned how to improve our CVs, with a focus on the do’s and don’ts, as well as useful tips and tricks to enhance our LinkedIn profiles and build a stronger professional presence.

It was a very engaging and valuable experience, full of practical advice that we can put into practice in our future careers.

After the workshop, we also enjoyed a nice meal together, which gave us the opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and have some great conversations.

Today, our new consultants officially kicked off their journey at BLSC! ⚖️

A look back at our M&A Negotiation Workshop with Deloitte Legal !

Students stepped into the role of lawyers representing either the purchaser or the sellers, putting their negotiation skills to the test as they worked towards an agreement on a Share Purchase Agreement.

Brussels Law School Consultancy organiseert in samenwerking met Deloitte Legal een M&A Business Case op de kantoren van Deloitte in Zaventem.

Tijdens deze interactieve M&A Business Case ontvangen de deelnemers vooraf een ontwerp van een overnameovereenkomst (de zogenaamde « SPA »), zodat zij zich kunnen verdiepen in de belangrijkste bepalingen. Tijdens de sessie worden de kernconcepten toegelicht, waarna de studenten worden ingedeeld als advocaat van de koper of de verkoper. Vervolgens onderhandelen zij in groepjes over de SPA.

De M&A Business Case biedt een unieke kans om onder begeleiding van professionals de kneepjes van het vak te leren en hun vaardigheden verder te ontwikkelen door kritisch na te denken en praktijkervaring op te doen. Na afloop is er gelegenheid om tijdens een hapje en een drankje te netwerken met de advocaten van Deloitte Legal.
