The National winner Belgium from Tulle 2026 in the category "Old birds" is Demely Liliane (Moorsele).
The pigeon was clocked on Saturday at 14:29 CEST after a race of 597.385 km, achieving an average velocity of 1329.94 m/min.

The National winner Belgium from Tulle 2026 in the category "Yearlings" is Team Platteeuw (Kluisbergen).
The pigeon was clocked on Saturday at 14:28 CEST after a race of 598.77 km, achieving an average velocity of 1335.65 m/min.

The International winner from Pau (Int.) 2026 in the category "Old birds" is Lippens Kati (Izegem, Belgium).
The pigeon was clocked on Saturday at 20:36 CEST after a race of 890.449 km, achieving an average velocity of 1251.74 m/min.

Fantastic result of Batenburg-v.d. Merwe pigeons on Pau! 👏

The first international race from Pau has been completed. The pigeons were liberated yesterday under extremely hot conditions, with temperatures reaching up to 35°C ☀️

We achieved 2nd, 3rd and 5th National Preliminary in The Netherlands. The pigeon shown below is our first arrival 😍

We are extremely happy with these results!

Alina is now the mother of a 1st, 2nd and 3rd National winner. She is a daughter of Jef x Queen of the Night, making her a truly exceptional breeding hen.

Vermeerbergen-Wilms (Mol, BE) had a super result last weekend with their youngsters! 🐣
325 pigeons: 1-2-3-4-4-6-7-9-10-... They present their top breeder. Lucky Luc Blizzard, a top racer himself by winning 16. Nat. Ace KBDB Sprint, but a super breeder as well, he is father to: 1-1-2-3-4-4-6-7-7-... winners! 🔥

After 3 national great middle distance races, Philippe Dobbelaere sits on top of the best old bird ranking with his super hen "Emma". She is a grandchild to the famous "Super Jan", winner of two ace pigeon titels in 2021 ( #1 KBDB Ace Pigeon AR YB & #5 KBDB Ace Pigeon GMD YB). Brothers of "Emma" won #2 KBDB Ace Pigeon SMD YB (Black Tornado) and #6 KBDB Ace Pigeon GMD YB (Blue Tornado) in 2023!

The pigeons for the Pau international race were released at 08:45 CEST this morning. 10.601 pigeons were basketed for the race. Good luck to all participants!

𝗚𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗻 (𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲, 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗶𝘂𝗺) 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮̂𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 💥

That two partners raced on total widowhood could produce such an outstanding performance is certainly far from ordinary. At provincial level, they narrowly missed victory, finishing 2nd and 9th Provincial.

At the foot of the basilica of Scherpenheuvel, a remarkable chapter of pigeon racing history has been written by the champions of Gommaire Verbruggen—not without reason known as the "maestro" from Kaggevinne.

Gommaire rose to international fame in the 1980s with phenomenal pigeons such as Kletsop, 020, Kadet, and many others. These champions achieved prestigious performances and victories in the semi-national and national middle-distance classics, including races such as Châteauroux and Bourges.
