Plot twist: Grounds doesn’t only do coffee. 🍫

Almost nobody knows we also bring fine cacao from Costa Rica to Europe.

Meet Baby Sloth CR Fine Cacao, from Upala, Costa Rica. A cacao that has been cascade fermented for 5-6 days. Think honey-like sweetness, raspberry, raisins, dried fruit and a touch of citrus zest.

But the interesting part isn’t just what’s in the bag. Baby Sloth works with more than 50 local producers including 30 women, helping them develop their skills and access financial opportunities.

Because a great product is one thing. Creating opportunities for the people behind it is another.
