On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August, we’re proud to be a partner of K. Beerschot V.A.'s Generation XIII Cup.

With this new elite youth tournament, Beerschot is creating a unique platform where promising U12 teams from across Europe and beyond come together for a weekend of top-level football, player development, and international connection.

🤝 BREAKING: Gumption had a new CEO for one day. And not just any CEO. She was nine years old and put her fellow business leaders in the hot seat without a hint of hesitation.

For the second year in a row, Gumption invited a young guest CEO to take the helm for a day. This year, Julie, daughter of Erik from Studio Emma, took on the role.

She interviewed our CEO, Bart Embrechts, met business leaders from across the Gumption Group community and asked the questions adults often stop asking. “But... why do you actually do it that way?”

That one question captures exactly why we organise our CEO for a Day initiative. Children look at the world without assumptions. They bring curiosity, honesty and fresh perspectives. Sometimes, they ask the question your boardroom didn’t know it needed.

What started as a fun experiment has now become a tradition. Because encouraging entrepreneurship, giving talent opportunities and learning from one another has nothing to do with age.

🏆 First time. Straight onto the podium. People have made headlines for less.

That’s exactly what Team Gumption did at the Hercules Trophy on 27 June. We came as true underdogs and somehow, the Gumption way paid off: strategy first, ex*****on second.

🏌️ Disc golf: trust your instinct.
🚛 Truck pulling: shoulder to shoulder.
🚴 Velodrome: keep pedalling.
🚑 Rescue 911: no challenge too big.

Heatwave? Bring it on. Fun? Check. Podium? 🥉 Third place out of 64 teams.
