Excited and happy to be attending the organized and hosted jointly by , the , and the Europeans Regions Airline Association this year!
The focus of this year’s Forum is on « Aviation Weather Resilience », which is a critical topic, as adverse weather events become more frequent and impactful...
We’re seeing more standardized reporting in our industry (which, as such, is an indication of an improving reporting culture and safety culture in Aviation... But I might be a bit optimistic too here...), which helps us understand these challenges better. However, the severe turbulence incidents we’ve seen recently, injuring passengers and crew, highlight the urgent need for our ongoing efforts.
This forum brings together a diverse group of professionals from airlines, ATC units, regulatory agencies, aircraft manufacturers, pilots, and industry associations. It’s a great opportunity to exchange ideas and insights from a holistic perspective.
Aviation safety ISN’T isolated; it touches every part of our industry. From economics, finances, and sustainability to climate and compliance, it’s all interconnected, and even though it is great to see so many Aviation Safety Professionals in the same conferene room, arent’ ALL aviation professionals supposed to be considered as « Safety Professionals », at the end of the road?
I believe that open dialogue is really essential to improving our resilience and ensuring the safety of everyone in the air and on the ground.
Looking forward to insightful discussions and innovative solutions during this forum.
