Now is the moment to build stronger alliances, explore new markets, and make strategy your best asset.
Nothing really have to stop you.

At Wodan & Co, we help businesses rethink their approach with resilience, clarity, and bold moves.

Set a stretch goal. One that feels just a bit out of reach.

Why? Because even if you don’t hit it, it’ll sharpen your focus, guide your decisions, and keep you moving in the right direction.

You’ll stop asking “what should I do next?” and start knowing exactly what brings you closer to that big win.

So go ahead, aim high. The clarity it brings is worth it.

The Pareto Principle: 80% of outcomes come from 20% of your efforts.
Old rule. Still gold.🚀

Now imagine this:
If you could identify and double down on that top 20%...
What would that look like?
What if just one day a week was dedicated to your most impactful tasks?

We’re not talking hustle. We’re talking focus.
We’re talking working smart.

Success isn’t about doing everything.
It’s about doing the right things, but better 😉.

So
 what’s in your 20%?

So, what could we accomplish together?

Let’s create something extraordinary.

Good news! Strategic thinking is a skill you can train.
Oh yes! đŸ’Ș

And guess what? It’s not that hard.

In this article, Bruce Eckfeldt lays out 5 simple but powerful steps to improve your strategic thinking—and we must say... we’re here for it.

Our favorite takeaway? The 4th one.
It’s hard to think big when you’re drowning in the day-to-day.

Creating space to step back and reflect isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity for leaders who want to see clearly and lead intentionally.

And we love to brainstorm with those leaders during the time they carve out.

Whether it’s questioning assumptions, mapping future scenarios, or gathering outside perspectives, every step we accompany you on is about sharpening decision-making and unlocking clarity.

Want to think more strategically? Start with space.

I've seen too many leaders get stuck in day-to-day operations and lose sight of the larger picture. Here's how to think more strategically.

While was back in Canada for a few days (and as always, we had a lot of fun), he’s now, as you all know, officially back in Belgium. What a change!

After months of remote collaboration, we finally get to swap video calls for real-life conversations, quick phone calls for spontaneous coffee chats, and virtual meetings for whiteboard sessions filled with fresh ideas, right here in Belgium.

There’s something special about face-to-face interactions. The energy, the brainstorming, the small moments, the human connection!

While remote work keeps us connected, nothing beats the power of personal interactions in strengthening our team and driving our work forward.

As Wouter puts it:
"Being back in town reminds me how much happens in the in-between moments, the conversations you didn’t plan, the ideas that come up over lunch, the things you only notice when you’re there."

What’s your take? Do you prefer working remotely or being in the office?

Growth isn’t just about winning, it’s about learning from what didn't work.

Sometimes, you have to let go of what no longer serves you before you can move forward. A strategy that didn’t pan out, a project that didn’t take off, or even a business direction that no longer fits, it’s all part of the journey.

Accepting loss doesn’t mean failure. It means making space for better opportunities, sharper strategies, and real progress. 🚀

What’s one shift that helped you grow in ways you didn’t expect?

Tuesday, we talked about how human-powered insights still matter. Well, company culture is no different... it needs to be... cultivated.

A strong workplace culture shapes everything: productivity, motivation, and whether people actually want to show up every day.
And no, it’s not just about free coffee and team lunches (though those help too👀).

So, how do you build a positive workplace culture that people thrive in?

â–ȘRegular Team-Building – Whether it’s retreats, workshops, or just getting together outside of work, strong teams don’t happen by accident. They’re built.

â–ȘEmployee Recognition – A simple “thank you” goes a long way. More as well 😉. Feeling valued boosts engagement, motivation, and trust within the team.

â–ȘFlexibility – Work isn’t one-size-fits-all. Giving employees the space to balance work and life leads to happier, more productive teams (and fewer burnout emails). Stay open and keep communicate!

Culture isn’t just words on a mission statement. It’s something you live every day.

How do you cultivate a positive workplace?

Do you remember the pre-GPS era?

Those days when we used to navigate with paper maps.
When we used to get lost...a lot. (Mmmh, those little fights in the car...)

You remember that mindset? The one where you had to find your way and work for it?

AI? We’re ready for it.
Innovation? Don’t ask me twice.

But we can’t help but notice—we miss that era. The mindset of fighting to find your way. Of figuring things out, not just expecting instant answers.

Sometimes, we assume things should come easy. Not true.

Some things take effort, persistence, and problem-solving. We just forgot.

In business, not everything can be fixed by technology & AI.
It’s a tool.

Strategy, experience, and human insight still matter.
Let’s not forget that either. 😉

We like to talk about continuous learning.
It's essential.

Let's cut the blabla and go straight to the point :

Companies prioritizing employee development -> impacts.

â–ȘIncreased Revenue: 43% of companies report increased revenue after implementing structured education programs.

â–ȘEmployee Retention: 94% of employees would stay longer at a company if it invested in their learning and development.

â–ȘEnhanced Innovation: High-performing learning organizations are 92% more likely to innovate, staying ahead in competitive markets.

By investing in your team's growth, you're not only enhancing their skills but also driving your business forward.

Just saying...

Trust. Big word.

Well, in the service industry... that's the first thing you need.

Whether you're in hospitality, mortgage, or consulting, it's not just about delivering a service—it's about building real, authentic relationships with your clients.

When people feel they can rely on you, they keep coming back and even refer you to others.

That trust isn't built overnight.
It's earned through consistency, empathy, and a genuine commitment to meeting your clients' needs.

Thoughts on building trust in the service industry?

Our two cents... be authentic... 😉
