🚗 Are we on the SAFE page?

Every journey starts with a choice—and every choice on the road matters.

Through PAGE (Are we on the SAFE page? Driving to Responsibility among Youth), we come together with a shared vision: to promote responsible driving, raise awareness about road safety, and support young people in making informed decisions behind the wheel.

By combining non-formal education, digital learning and international cooperation, we create practical resources that empower youth workers to inspire safer attitudes and encourage a stronger culture of responsibility among young people.

Together with our partners from Greece 🇬🇷, Belgium 🇧🇪 and Bulgaria 🇧🇬, we believe that education has the power to change behaviours, save lives and make our roads safer for everyone.
Because every safe journey begins with knowledge, responsibility and the choices we make every day.

💙 Stay with us as we share our journey, our activities and the impact of PAGE across Europe!

On 3 July 2026, The Square Dot Team participated in the PeerCollab Transnational Project Meeting hosted by ACEEU in Münster, Germany.🤝

📚 The meeting was a valuable opportunity to review the overall progress of the project, discuss the next steps for the Peer Assessment training and pilot activities, and align our communication, dissemination, and exploitation work under WP5. 📌

We were glad to exchange ideas with all partners and continue working together to promote innovative, inclusive, and student-centred teaching practices in higher education. 💡🎓

A big thank you to ACEEU for hosting the meeting and to all partners for the productive discussions! 🙌

🌍 The Square Dot Team BV in Bangor!

Last month, our team joined the Let her in International Networking Event, hosted by KILCOOLEY WOMEN'S CENTRE in Bangor, Northern Ireland (7–9 June 2026).

Two inspiring days spent connecting with organisations from across Europe, all working toward gender equality, social inclusion, and community empowerment. From strategic partnership discussions to co-design workshops, we came away with new ideas, new connections, and renewed energy for building impactful projects together.

A huge thank you to Kilcooley Women's Centre and the whole Let Her In network for such a warm welcome and a truly collaborative atmosphere. 🙌
Here's to turning these conversations into real partnerships and lasting impact across Europe!

📢 Thank you to everyone who joined the International Dissemination Webinar for the presentation of the Beyond Fear - Building Safer Workplaces for Women Transnational Research Report, organised by the BEYOND FEAR partnership, including Smart Education Hub, our network organisation in Germany! 🎉

🌍 BEYOND FEAR is a 24-month Erasmus+ cooperation partnership (KA220-ADU) bringing together six organisations from Italy, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Cyprus, and Malta, all working to prevent and address gender-based violence in the workplace and to give female workers and employers practical tools for building safer, more inclusive work environments. 💪

💡 During the webinar, speakers shared the key findings and recommendations of the BEYOND FEAR Transnational Research Report, the result of participatory research conducted across six European countries and involving over 180 female workers and employers. 📊

The discussion explored the barriers and challenges women face when reporting workplace violence 🔴, the cultural and structural factors that perpetuate harassment and abuse 🏛️, employer responses and gaps in company prevention policies 🏢, cross-national comparisons and evidence-based recommendations, and the practical tools and next steps for training and prevention 🛠️.

🤝 It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with international speakers, network with organisations working on gender equality, and contribute to a growing European movement for safer workplaces. Thank you to all our partners and participants for making it such a meaningful event! 🙌

🌐 The BEYOND FEAR partnership brings together six organisations from across Europe: Exeo Lab Srl (Italy, Lead Applicant), Smart Education Hub (Germany), Let Her In International Network (Spain), Netwerkpro (Netherlands), The Serendipitous Black Cloud (Cyprus), and Women Elevation Malta (Malta).

🎓 In May we had the pleasure of hosting an insightful online training session within the Let Her In International Network on “Quality Assurance in EU Proposals & Projects”.

The session explored practical methodologies, proposal-writing strategies, dissemination planning, monitoring & evaluation practices, and key lessons learned from large-scale EU-funded projects. Participants also engaged in a valuable discussion on how organisations can strengthen quality standards in both proposal development and project implementation.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us live and contributed to the discussion! 🙌

📺 Missed the training?

No worries — the full session recording is now available on YouTube so you can watch it anytime and revisit the key insights shared during the webinar.

We are also excited to continue these important conversations during the upcoming Let Her In International Networking Event taking place in Bangor, Northern Ireland, on 8–9 June 2026. We look forward to connecting with partners, stakeholders, and organisations from across Europe to further strengthen collaboration, inclusion, and quality in EU projects.

🤔 Are we strengthening learning — or weakening it?

As part of our ComeThinkAgain project, we've been exploring one of the most pressing questions in education today: what happens when students think they no longer need to think, and teachers can no longer tell what's real?

As AI tools become embedded in classrooms, a new tension is emerging — not just about technology, but about trust and learning. Reflections from The Important Work highlight a growing disconnect where motivation, authenticity, and meaningful learning are increasingly at risk.

How can AI be used responsibly to support learning without eroding trust or critical thinking?

We'd love to hear your perspective 👇
