About the Taboo topic: DEATH
I have 2 close friends who are currently pre-grieving the nearing passing away of their moms. And it sparks some in depth conversations about life.
In this little video I just wanted to share my 5 cents worth of insights as a result of diving deeper into the topic since my mom was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago.
I did some research on what happens after we die, and the main regrets ppl have on their deathbeds.
And the NUMBER ONE 1️⃣ regret that ppl have is to not have showed up more authentically during their life. Meaning: not having showed up as they truly would have wanted, beyond the expectations of others. Not having stayed true to themselves, their desires, needs and values.
I see this not only in ppl on their deathbeds, but just as much in my practice as a hypnotherapist. Ppl still living from a space of (often internalised) expectations of others, instead of their own true desires and values.
I LOVE my work, bc it actually contributed to less people having regrets about how they live their lives, because they took action to come HOME TO THEMSELVES AGAIN! 🥰✨
No need to wait until we are diagnosed with a deadly disease, or when in old age on our deathbeds to start reflecting on how we would have done differently if we had the chance…
You can start TODAY!
Ask yourself: if I had the freedom to consciously choose: what kind of person would I like to be? And what kind of a life do I want to Live? …
Once you know: start actually EMBODYING these new insights! ❤️
If you encounter some resistance on a deeper level and would like some support in the process?
I’m here to offer you the needed support in a safe, loving and judgement-free space.
