Mariana Mazzucato: ‘I’m not talking about utopias’
Economist calls on governments to ‘shape’ markets for the common good

She wants governments to focus more on investing for the long-term flourishing of their societies through state-led investment, rather than cutting this back (as in the UK) in the name of fiscal responsibility. And by treating tax systems more as a means of shaping economic behaviour — rather than just a source of revenue — governments can align private sector activity with good outcomes for society.

Crucial to that first step, she says, is much greater engagement and consultation with citizens on an ongoing basis, rather than just on the election campaign trail.

“I think sometimes we forget,” she says, “that there are very different ways of doing capitalism.”

Na 8 jaar u.lab zijn we vorig jaar gestart met een bijzonder nieuw traject in het Emagine Center: ✨het Alureïsch Pad✨.
De naam Theory U in Practice al is intrigerend. Een PAD kent iedereen, maar wat betekent ALUREÏSCH? Het is een woord dat je in geen enkel woordenboek zult vinden. Nog niet 😉.
Het heeft te maken met ons herinneren wie we werkelijk zijn, ons innerlijk licht voelen én durven schijnen, en vanuit coherentie in het leven staan.

Het Alureïsch Pad is geen workshop, maar een uitnodiging om samen met een liefdevolle tribe op reis te gaan. Een ontdekkingstraject geïnspireerd door Theory U in Practice by Institute, de wijsheid van het -boordspel , de cycli van het leven en de gelaagdheid van wat is.

We hebben de reis opgebouwd in drie modules — herfst, winter en lente — zodat we het jaar samen beleven in de beweging van de seizoenen. En jij kan kiezen of je één seizoen met ons op pad gaat of alle 3 de seizoenen volgt.

Voor ons, Emaginers, voelt het juist om NU met dit traject naar buiten te komen. The time is now.

Carol's work and Carol herself were a significant influence on our journey on the regenerative field. Earlier this week Carol begun her intentional transition out of this world and passed on Wednesday 27th. We are greatfull of her contributions and impact made to this emergent field.

To adapt at any level of our society to a (more) regenerative way of life, economics, business, organisations, teams, ..., Daniel Christian Wahl approaches the needed mindshift of .

This is needed at all leaderships levels of institution, organisations, academy and a large spectrum of individuals to help us to understand how are going far beyond and towards for future generations (see also the by ).

Before we can design a new for society, we need to shift the mindset of humanity towards , at all levels of our society, so that can start to make room for coordinated step-by-step at levels as an iterative process.
