After more than two years of intense work, we are finally at the end of the development of our brand-new karate gi: the Topfighter Akira. It’s a moment we announce with great pride, because this is no ordinary gi. It is the result of a long process that began in the winter of 2022, during which we left no detail overlooked.
From the first sketches to the final design, from the fit to the packaging – we’ve worked with a critical eye on everything that makes the Topfighter Akira karate gi a top-quality product. Over 10 different samples were received and tested, each refined time and time again to ensure everything is perfect. Our focus was on comfort, durability, and style, so every karateka can perform at their best, both in the dojo and beyond.
Throughout this process, we closely collaborated with several fantastic karateka. Their feedback was invaluable, allowing us to make the final adjustments. From the cut to the fabric choice, everything has been carefully tailored to meet the needs of the practitioner. And we cannot forget the support of our manufacturer, with whom we’ve now been working for nearly 10 years. Their expertise and craftsmanship were essential in bringing this project to life.
Now, in April 2025, the time has finally come: the Topfighter Akira karate gi is ready to find its way to you. We are confident that this gi will not only meet the highest standards of the karateka but will also help elevate their performance to a new level.
