Myopia management is most effective when it begins before progression becomes established. Children's eyes are still developing, which means the stimulus for axial elongation is active during precisely the years when intervention can make the greatest difference.

Clinical data from the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center of Sun Yat-sen University compared eye axis elongation in 10-year-old children over 6 and 12 months.
