The Silk Road Collection - inspiring contemporary interiors by the imperfection of beauty and Asian A house that you enjoy coming home to, every day.

A collection of fine interior decorations, purchased during frequent trips to the Far East, including China, Indonesia, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand. The collection includes a variation of intriguing decorations that were either household items (pots, containers), or parts of old houses (like pieces of fine woodwork, screens or window frames). We also have very old antiques from the Han and Tang dynasty. Our collection is completed with new, straight-lined decorations that add to any classic or modern interior. Our aim is to create a harmonious and stimulating living environment.

More than 200 years old, these stepping stones were originally placed in front of gate doors in Southern China to make it easier to step over the threshold. Their weathered surface, solid material and simple shape give each piece a quiet, architectural presence. 🪨
We currently have a good number available in stock. Big and small. ✨

Strong materials, natural textures, robust shapes 🪨

Our stone garden decor brings a calm and grounded look to any garden, terrace or outdoor space. Cement pots stand out with their clean shape and raw finish. Stone planters and troughs reveal the natural beauty of the material through their unfinished rims and robust appearance. Stone mortars add a smaller decorative touch and can be used as unique candle holders, small planters or styling pieces for a garden table.

Together, these pieces add texture, character and a timeless atmosphere to any outdoor setting.

Rare finds, collected over time. These authentic Chinese cabinets and sideboards have travelled through generations before finding their place in our collection. Dating from beginning 20th century and earlier, each piece bears the marks of its journey: weathered lacquer, softened edges, original fittings, and a patina that only time can create. ✨

No two are alike. Each cabinet tells its own story and offers a unique presence that cannot be reproduced.

Shaped by nature and beautiful in their simplicity, these antique limestone troughs make exceptional planters in the garden. 🌿 Carved in Indonesia decades ago they once stood beside homes in the mountainous regions of Java, quietly collecting and storing precious rainwater where rivers were far away. Today, they can find new life outdoors. As planters, fountain basins, or sculptural accents in a garden design. ✨
