🎯 Final Milestone for Women's Empowerment Project in Madagascar 🚺

Earlier this month, the final workshop of our project "Support for Women’s Empowerment and the Fight Against Gender-Based Violence" took place in Antananarivo, ! ✨

Funded by the EU and implemented by GOPA PACE and partner GOPA Worldwide Consultants, this event gathered the EU Delegation, the Ministry of Population and Solidarity, BACE, and others to celebrate the achievements and tools developed over the past three years.

🛠️ Participants shared how awareness videos, prevention kits, and a legal analysis have already made an impact — from empowering school activities to inspiring legislative changes. The commitment to continue using these resources shows the strong will to sustain the project’s legacy!

🎭 To close the day, the Zolobe Theatre Company performed "Maman’ny Hamba", a powerful play raising awareness about gender-based violence, inspired by a Malagasy traditional story. A touching and symbolic way to conclude this important chapter.

🙌 Together, we move forward - ensuring women’s voices, choices, and rights are strengthened across Madagascar!

🕊️ Help Us Map Holocaust Memory Across Europe

As part of the European Sites of Holocaust Memory (ESHEM) initiative, we're reaching out to organizations and institutions across Europe to take part in a crucial survey. This project, carried out by GOPA PACE, Fundacja Zapomniane, FestivALT, Fundacja Urban Memory - The Urban Memory Foundation, and GOPA Com.., and funded by the European Commission, seeks to collect and connect knowledge about Holocaust-related sites and projects.

We’re calling on museums, memorials, networks, and remembrance initiatives to share their experiences, highlight key projects, and discuss the challenges they face. Your input will contribute to a growing understanding of good practices and help build stronger connections across the field.

Behind every successful reform is a message that resonates. That’s why strategic communication 💬 plays a crucial role in building trust, transparency, and public support throughout North Macedonia’s EU accession journey.

📅 On 27 March 2025, GOPA PACE, under the 𝐄𝐔-𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐄, held a national workshop in Skopje to enhance strategic communication around EU-supported reforms. The event brought together representatives from the Ministry for European Affairs, communication officers from line ministries, and project experts.

🧠 Participants explored how to better communicate the goals and impact of the 𝐄𝐔 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚, with a strong focus on 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲, 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭. Practical sessions and case studies helped build capacity to 𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐔 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬.

🎓 Led by communication expert Bojan Kordalov and SUPRAE Team Leader Mojca Grošelj, the workshop shared hands-on tools and best practices for implementing the Communication and Visibility Plan (CVP) and improving institutional outreach across digital and traditional media.

✅ Clear, consistent communication is key to ensuring citizens understand and support national reforms. GOPA PACE remains committed to empowering institutions with the skills and strategies needed for lasting, informed change.

💡 Project 106 – TEST is a global programme implemented by GOPA PACE (Consortium Lead), together with ISEM Institute, GOPA Worldwide Consultants, the National Crisis Centre, and the University of Lodz (Consortium Partners). On 11-12 March 2025, students in Antananarivo, Madagascar took a stand against gender-based violence (GBV) through the power of film! 🎥✨

As part of an EU-funded initiative, young creatives from Ankatso University, Diego Saint Michel (SAMIS-ESIC), IEP, UCM, and ENS participated in a short film competition tackling GBV and responsible communication. With powerful storytelling, they raised awareness among their peers and beyond. 💪🎞️

Exciting news! The EU neighbours east Young European Ambassadors (YEA) Call 2025 campaign wrapped up with an amazing response - 1,126 applications from across the region! 🙌🎉

Over 22,000 users explored the opportunity, with a record-breaking reach of nearly 465,000 people across the Eastern Partnership (EaP) and selected EU countries. Thanks to a strategic 18-day campaign, we engaged young leaders passionate about volunteering, civic activism, and the EU. 💡🔥
