🐝 buzzing into children’s day with sweet knowledge! 🌼

On 1 June 2025, we celebrated international children’s day with a buzzing event dedicated to our tiniest but mightiest friends – the bees! 🐝💛

Together with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the National Anthropological Museum, we organised a fun and informative session where children learned all about the magical world of bees – why they matter, how they live, and how we can help protect them. 🌍🍯

🐝 жужащ празник за малки и големи пчелолюбци! 🌼

На 1 юни 2025 г. отпразнувахме международния ден на детето със специално събитие, посветено на едни от най-важните обитатели на природата – пчелите! 🐝💛

В партньорство с Българската академия на науките и Националния антропологичен музей организирахме забавно и образователно занимание за деца, които научиха повече за удивителния свят на пчелите – как живеят, защо са важни и как можем да ги опазим. 🌍🍯

🌍🐝 Жужене от Сасари, Италия! 🇮🇹
Първата междинна международна партньорска среща по проекта BeeLieve – Европейски центрове за върхови постижения в пчеларството 🐝🇪🇺 се проведе в красивия град Сасари!
Партньори от Словения 🇸🇮, Гърция 🇬🇷, Полша 🇵🇱, България 🇧🇬 и Италия 🇮🇹 се събраха, за да споделят напредъка, да координират стратегии и да укрепят сътрудничеството в областта на професионалното образование и върховите постижения в пчеларството. 🌼📚
🌿 На втория ден, нашите невероятни домакини от IIS Pellegrini организираха вдъхновяващо посещение на Природен парк Порто Конте — защитена зона, посветена на съхраняването на биоразнообразието. 🌳🐞
🍯 Акцентът? Посещение на тяхната лаборатория за добив на мед, където природата среща иновацията в подкрепа на устойчивите практики в пчеларството. 💛🛠️

🐝 Buzzing with purpose at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences! 🇧🇬🍯

On 9 April, our BeeLieve project took a major step forward as we proudly marked the official signing of our Bulgarian Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in Apiculture Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. 📜✨

The event brought together a hive of brilliant minds—scientists, researchers, and innovators—to learn more about BeeLieve’s mission to modernise and elevate vocational education in beekeeping across Europe. 🌍🐝

📊 We shared the current status of the Bulgarian CoVE, highlighting the key roles of our engaged stakeholders, including educational institutions, industry experts, and technology partners. Together, we’re building a strong, collaborative ecosystem where learning meets practice.

🐝 From 17 to 21 March 2025, the buzzing hive of the Beelieve project came alive in sunny Naples 🌞, where the second training lab gathered busy bees 🐝 from Bulgaria 🇧🇬, Greece 🇬🇷, Italy 🇮🇹, Poland 🇵🇱 and Slovenia 🇸🇮. Together, they swarmed into an inspiring space designed for learning, sharing and cross-border collaboration 🌍.

🍯 The five-day event was packed with a honey-sweet 🍯 programme of buzzing talks 🗣️, hands-on hive demos 🔍🐝, and nectar-rich sessions focused on everything from bee care and conservation 🌼, to the secrets of honey-making and the magic of bee products ✨.

Throughout the week, the hive spirit 🐝💛 was strong — a blend of professionalism, intercultural pollen-exchange 🌸 and inspiration 💡. Many participants shared that the experience wasn’t just educational 📚, but a real sting of motivation ⚡ for their future work in the project, leaving them buzzing 🐝 with new ideas and positive energy ⚡🌻.
