Today was hard…
Sometimes, despite all the preparation, things simply don’t go as planned.
The wind was relentless, and after a second batch of the ceramics crashed to the ground, I knew I couldn’t keep going. I packed everything up and went home before the market had even ended.
I won’t lie - I cried.
Not because ceramics can’t be replaced, but because every market represents hours of preparation, hope, and excitement. I always look forward to meeting new people, sharing my work, hearing your stories, and making genuine connections. That’s the part that hurt the most.
But even on difficult days, there is so much kindness.
To everyone who stopped by my stand, checked in on me, offered encouraging words, helped me gather the broken pieces, and shared a smile - thank you! Your kindness meant more than you know, and it reminded me why I love being part of this community.
💗💗💗
Today I’ll allow myself to feel disappointed.
Tomorrow, I’ll start again.
Because creating is still worth it.
Thank you for being here. 🤍
