TTO “Innovative Capital” was established in August 2012 in Sofia, Bulgaria under project No BG161PO003-1.2.02 – 0007 – C0001 “Establishment and operation of the Technology Transfer Office “Innovative capital” funded by the Operational Programme “Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy” 2007-2013, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund a
nd the state budget of the Republic of Bulgaria. EBN is a network of around 150 quality-certified EU|BICs (business and innovation centres) and 100 other organisations that support the development and growth of innovative entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs. EBN is also a community of professionals whose day-to-day work helps these businesses to grow in the most effective, efficient and sustainable way. TTO “Innovative Capital” is a member in International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP). International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP) is the worldwide network of science parks and areas of innovation. TTO "Innovative capital" is a member of the Bulgarian Network for Technology Transfer (BMTT), which supports the development of innovative companies and the commercialization of research and high technologies in Bulgaria. TTO "Innovative capital" is a member of ASTP-Proton. ASTP-Proton focus on knowledge transfer professionals and on knowledge and technology transfer offices by:
• establishing and exchanging best practices for knowledge and technology transfer, and
• training of professionals. The vision of TTO “Innovative Capital” is to widely recognized as a contact point and resource to add value to the process of technology transfer in the region of Sofia. TTO “Innovative Capital” promotes innovation and commercialization of research results and their market by developing new or improved products, services, or spin offs, increasing competitiveness. The strategic objective of TTO “Innovative Capital” is to be an essential tool and a representative of the technology transfer between the private, public and academic sectors.
