Welcome To Bulgaria

Welcome To Bulgaria Welcome to Bulgaria is a destination services company serving foreigners living and working in Bulga We are determined to help our clients every way we can.

Welcome to Bulgaria began with a single purpose in mind: to make life better, easier, and less expensive for foreigners living in Bulgaria. Our first product was administrative assistance for visa processing. We learned all we could about how to navigate the local bureaucratic maze, set reasonable prices, and quickly found we could make a positive difference in the lives of people here. From that

simple start, we have grown into a full service firm actively solving problems every day, for foreigners in all walks of life. There are few things as satisfying as a smile on the face of a happy customer. We know that the expat life is a stressful proposition, and every situation presents unique challenges. Issues that would never come to light in our home countries sometimes tower like giants standing in the way of success or happiness when you find yourself on foreign soil. So we try to listen closely to what our customers have to say, and strive to develop timely, effective and lasting solutions to meet their needs, both large and small. For customers relocating to Bulgaria we offer standard products and services like our VISA Assistance, Miracle Max, Max & Friends, HouseHunt and CarSearch. Years of experience have allowed us to learn these processes well. We can advise you for all of your relocation needs. We also offer custom services such as Event Management and Language Study. We handle every language student as an individual to be sure we address their most important needs. We organize events with the same individual care, focusing on what the customer hopes to achieve. Beyond the every day, we help our customers survive the unexpected as well. Our Miracle Max Hotline is available 24/7 to get you out of trouble or help answer important questions as they arise. Finally, we offer a growing collection of Online Resources to make life just a little bit easier for expats in Bulgaria.

As of today, there will be no more checks when travelling across land borders between Bulgaria or Romania and any Schengen member country. Border checks for air and sea travel were lifted in March 2024.

Today we celebrate them becoming fully-fledged members of the largest free travel area in the world.

One of our friends, a longtime expat resident of Bulgaria, is conducting a study of community and resilience in the COVID era as part of his graduate studies. He is particularly focused on people living in Bulgaria and Greece. If you fit that description, and would like to help, there is a short questionnaire you can fill out online in less than 15 minutes. (Link below)

Please help! It's easy, painless, anonymous, and might even teach us something useful about ourselves and the communities in which we live.

Please participate if you have the time and interest to do so. Thanks!

Here is the request, with link below.

Dear Participant:

My name is Lawrence Sharrett, and I am currently a graduate student of Counseling Psychology and Psychotherapy at The American College of Greece- Deree. As a researcher, I am proposing the following research question: What is the effect of community belonging and collective resilience on psychological distress during the Covid-19 pandemic?

This survey will take around 10-15 minutes to complete, and it is for anyone living in Bulgaria or Greece, 18 years old or older, and who speaks English. The survey is anonymous and confidential, and your identity will not be available to me as a researcher. It will ask you questions about your psychological health, about groups or communities you belong to that are impacting you positively, and your perceived sense of community in those communities.

If you have any questions for me as a researcher, you can contact me directly at [email protected]. Thank you for your willingness to participate in this research study.
