We are looking for Accounting and Tax Manager for a large international company in the city of Pernik (several days remote possible).

Your role:
• Manage all aspects of the accounting functions of a multinational group ofcompanies;
• Develop and execute strategic financial and accounting objectives;
• Lead and develop a high-performing accounting organization;
• Cooperate and partner with an Accounting Shared Service Center;
• Manage and develop accounting planning, policies, control models and taxcompliance;
• Coordinate financial closing, consolidation and external financial and tax reporting.
• Manage interim and annual financial reporting;
• Lead communication with external auditor, customs and tax authorities;
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable financial reporting standards and fiscal and other legal requirements;•Support internal business partners on accounting and tax matters;
• Lead key project and process optimization initiatives e.g ERP implementations
Your profile:
• University degree in Accounting or Finance;
• A post graduate degree in a related field is considered an asset;
• 5 - 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational company;
• Up to date knowledge of IFRS and Bulgarian accounting;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language;
• Very good knowledge of ERP accounting packages, preferably SAP;
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications and especially Excel Professional Competencies:
• High standards of business ethics and professional conduct;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• Capacity to organize time and plan actions effectively so as to meet simultaneous deadlines;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Perseverance and results orientation;
• Precision and reliability; ability to work autonomously.
