Travelling via Sofia International Airport is now more fun with the first new stores and restaurants!
Bates is contributing in this exciting process with the design adaptation and detailed design of a total of 7 new outlets of Avolta with retail and food and beverage offerings at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
We raise the level of customer experience with our specific approach to each outlet with deep understanding of the conditions on site, detailed coordination of all interior and engineering elements, careful arrangement of materials and equipment, follow up with vendors until installation, uncompromising attention to engineering and safety, under the excellent project management of our colleagues from Mundus Services.

We have not posted for a while but we have not been idle.
Here we come with the representative office of one of the largest and most reputable law offices in Sofia, just finished last December,. A quite special job centered around a collection of works of modern Bulgarian art designed with modern minimalist approach, where every small detail matters.
The reception and meeting spaces have been arranged with careful consideration of the spatial, functionalist and aesthetic qualities of the building, a fine example of the modernist architecture before WWII and monument of culture. Interplay of spatial connections, restoration of material qualities, attention to light, acoustics, finishes – these were some of main aspects of the design intent to be achieved in this project.
For this purpose one needs also an experienced project manager and this is where Bates comes – to collect and coordinate the team of contractors and vendors, together with the architect, take care for the ex*****on and any quality issues, contracts, payments, commissioning, etc.
Any project cannot go without the best and suited contractors and suppliers like the ones involved here: Architect – 7561 Architects, Main contractor – Be4, Custon furniture – Valyan, standard furniture – Sklada, Parquette – Natif, Custom doors – Swego, Lighting – Design Inception, Audio/Video – OmniChannel.
