What if excellence has been misunderstood all along?

At the first edition of , shared a story that challenged one of the most celebrated ideas in modern work culture:

That excellence is possible by working very hard. That excellence means doing more.

Her presentation explored a different perspective.

That excellence might have less to do with how many hours you spent in the office, and more to do with having the capacity to give your very best.

Being effective is not the same as being permanently busy. And in a world increasingly shaped by AI, this distinction matters even more.

The advantage will not belong to those who can produce endlessly, but It will belong to those who can think clearly, protect their attention, and focus on what creates real value.

There are open trainings we like, and then there are those we love. ❤️

This was the case with the final edition of Personal Brand Program.

Over a day and a half, a group of amazing women stepped into the work of building something that goes far beyond visibility.

Together with Stoeva Maria and Velinа Томова, they worked on defining their positioning, shaping their message and turning ideas into something that can actually be seen, understood and remembered.

Global crises don’t stay global for long.

They show up in everyday decisions.

In two recent appearances on Nova and NOVA News, Stoeva Maria, CEO of SISTEMMA, explored a question that is becoming increasingly relevant:

👉🏼 How do we actually reduce costs and fuel consumption in a way that works in practice?

The conversation goes beyond quick fixes.

Remote work remains one of the most effective solutions.

And yet, in Bulgaria, only around 2% of professionals work remotely.

At the same time, alternatives like shared commuting or public transport are often discussed, but are much harder to implement consistently.

🚦 Studies show that office environments can include up to 275 interruptions per day, raising a simple but uncomfortable question.

What are we actually optimizing for?

At SISTEMMA, we believe the answer will not come from a single measure.

It will come from a combination of:
- flexible work models, and
- realistic company expectations

Exactly one month ago, our CEO, Stoeva Maria, opened the International Women’s Day celebration of Sofia Stars with a keynote.

🍸 80 incredible women gathered at Feel Better bar. And yes, the name fits.

After the talk, the evening turned into something even more special.
Flowers, laughter, conversations, and that rare feeling of simply being present together. 💐

Maria shared a personal story about one previous overwhelming 8th of March.
A day full of meetings, pressure, and a sick child.

She came back exhausted…
And found a pizza, water, and a single rose on her desk. 🌹

A note from a colleague:
“Take care of yourself first. We’ll handle everything else.”

That moment stayed with her.

🩷 And the twist?
The same woman was sitting in the room that night.

Sometimes, the most powerful thing one woman can say to another is:
“I’ve got you.”

Thank you, Sofia Stars, for creating space for moments like this.
We need more of them.

What happens to a woman’s life after becoming a mother?

And how much space remains… for herself?

These were some of the questions explored in the studio of bTV’s “Преди обед”, where Stoeva Maria, CEO of SISTEMMA, joined a conversation dedicated to the evolving role of women in Bulgaria.

The discussion was part of the broader initiative “Portrait of the Bulgarian Woman” by Much Better.

Data from the study shared during the conversation highlights something important: many women continue to be active, ambitious and engaged, but far fewer create consistent space for themselves in their daily lives.

And this is where the real question begins.

Not how women manage everything, but at what cost.
