Our colleague Alexandru Cosmin Gheorghe, Head of Quality Department, recently had the pleasure of visiting The Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering part of Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti, Romania, where he introduced students to Solarpro and provided insights into our work in the renewable energy field.

Beyond introducing the company, Alexandru discused the rapid development of the sector, the opportunities ahead and the skills needed to succeed in a dynamic and evolving industry. He also encouraged students to invest in their education and personal growth, as they prepare for their professional journey.

Gabriel Nenov, Head of Energy Storage Systems at Solarpro, recently took part in Balkan Battery Day in Athens, joining the panel discussion “BESS Market Outlook Across the Region” alongside other industry leaders and experts.

A key takeaway from the panel was the Balkans’ strong potential for battery storage development, with the main market drivers already in place. Bulgaria currently holds the leading position in the region in terms of completed BESS projects, while neighboring markets are expected to accelerate their development in the coming years.

The discussion also highlighted the critical role of speed in bringing new projects to market. In this rapidly developing sector, timing and early mover advantage continue to play a key role.

👏 This week, we continue celebrating important milestones! Together with Eldrive Romania, Renalfa and TOKI Romania, we are proud to officially open our new shared office in Oregon Park, Bucharest. This office is a representation for our shared vision for growth and desire for stronger collaboration across Renalfa Solarpro Group.

During the official opening, representatives from all four companies shared insights into our long-term ambitions in renewable energy, e-mobility, energy trading and infrastructure development.

Kamen Nedyalkov, Country Manager of Solarpro Romania, highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering projects on time and at the highest quality standards. “This is part of our ambition to further develop the market and continue growing together with our partners,” he said.

👏 We are proud to share another important achievement for Solarpro Racing Team and for everyone who supports motorsport and automotive excellence!

Our colleague, Trifon Stoyanov Kamburov, achieved 1st place in Class X24 during the second round of the championship, following the team’s strong performance and well-deserved 2nd place finish in the opening round of the Super Select amateur championship.

👉 The result is especially meaningful considering the technical challenges faced during the race. Despite a broken turbo and a cracked brake disc, the team managed to repair the Mitsubishi EVO directly at the track and continue competing with determination and professionalism.

As we prepare for Solarpro Racing Team’s third participation of the 2026 season, we remain committed to the values that unite the automotive community: precision, resilience, teamwork and continuous improvement.

On St. George’s Day, we joined our partners from Rezolv Energy in celebrating the official opening of the 𝗦𝘁. 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 near Silistra, Bulgaria.

As EPC contractor, we are proud to have contributed to the successful delivery of:
☀️ 𝟮𝟮𝟓 𝗠𝗪𝐩 𝗣𝗩 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁,
🔋 𝟵𝟬 𝗠𝗪 / 𝟮𝟰𝟬 𝗠𝗪𝗵 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺,
⚡ Key grid infrastructure, including 3 substations and 110 kV transmission lines.

Today, this site stands as one of the region’s most significant hybrid renewable energy hubs. This transformation reflects Solarpro’s approach to repurposing industrial areas into renewable energy assets that offer long-term value for both the energy system and the local economy.

Successfully delivering a project of this scale required close coordination between all parties and maintaining exceptionally high standards throughout every stage of construction and commissioning.

We sincerely thank Rezolv Energy for the trust placed in us and the strong partnership we developed throughout this project, as well as the continued support of all contractors and partners involved.

A special thank you goes to the incredible Solarpro teams on site and behind the scenes whose dedication, expertise, and hard work made this important achievement a reality.

Spring is for site visits! 👷

Part of the Solarpro team recently visited our site in Razlog, Bulgaria, a 33 MWp PV plant combined with a 25 MW / 55 MWh BESS system, set against the beautiful backdrop of the Pirin mountains. The visit brought together colleagues from across the company, including Finance, IT, Procurement, HR, Construction, and Monitoring & Analysis, offering a valuable opportunity to connect their day-to-day work with real project ex*****on on site.

The day began with an introductory session, covering the key components of the plant, how they operate, and the development of PV projects in the region and within Solarpro over the years. Equipped with helmets and all the necessary safety gear, the group then explored the site, moving from PV structures and inverters to the battery storage systems, with live demonstrations along the way. The BESS system and tracking technologies drew particular interest, highlighting the growing role of energy storage and smart solutions in modern renewable energy projects.

Site visits are an important part of Solarpro’s approach to onboarding and development, strengthening collaboration across teams and helping colleagues understand firsthand how their work translates into real impact and technologies on site.

Earlier this week, our Varna team joined the career forum “Step Towards the Future 2026” at Технически Университет - Варна / Technical University of Varna, connecting with students and participating in a roundtable focused on strengthening collaboration between universities and business.

A key challenge remains: how do we reach and inspire future engineers?
👉 By meeting them where they are, speaking their language, and showing real career paths through direct interaction with professionals.

As part of our long-standing partnership with the university, we’re glad to continue contributing to the development of young talent in the renewable energy sector.
