What a way to wrap up this year’s Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament! 🏐

This past weekend, Varna brought the energy, the sunshine, and the competitive spirit - and we couldn't have asked for a better finale.

With 25+ teams on the sand, great matches, amazing sportsmanship, cool music, and plenty of good vibes, the day was a true celebration of community, teamwork, and a cause that matters. 💙

🏆 A huge congratulations to our champions, Team Ronaldo👏

Most importantly, every team, participant, and supporter contributed to something bigger. The funds raised throughout the tournament will support Заедно в час / Teach for Bulgaria and their "Model Schools" ("Училища за пример") program, which helps train and support school teams across Bulgaria, creating lasting improvements in teaching, school leadership, and student development. 🎓

And we're not stopping here. We'll be back next year - bigger, better, and even more exciting, so stay tuned! 🔔

Varna, you did it! We’re officially fully booked! ✅

The response to our Pontica Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament has been incredible, and all spots for the Varna tournament are now filled!

A huge thank you to everyone who signed up and showed their enthusiasm for a day of sport, summer vibes, and supporting a good cause. Seeing so much interest has been truly inspiring.

And here’s some exciting news: because of the overwhelming response, we’re already thinking ahead. Next year, we may extend the tournament to two days instead of one to welcome even more teams to the sand. 🌊☀️

This past weekend, we kicked off the fourth edition of our Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament in Sofia, at the Beach Mania Home Mania Home courts, and what a day it was! 🏐

From the very first serve to the final point, the courts were filled with amazing energy, friendly competition, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. 🙌

Thanks to all joiners, we also raised funds in support of Заедно в час / Teach for Bulgaria and their “Model Schools” (“Училища за пример”) program, helping create lasting change in schools and communities across the country.

A huge thank you to all participants, supporters, volunteers, and friends who made the day so special. And, of course, congratulations to our champions: the Bravo Sashko team! 🏆

Special thanks to DEVIN Active for keeping everyone hydrated throughout the day. 💧

Our People of Pontica in the spotlight this week is Maya Ivanova! ✨

Maya is a Know Your Business Analyst whose professional journey combines strong legal expertise with a passion for compliance and risk prevention.

After spending nine years as a legal advisor, she transitioned into the Fintech sector, where she has dedicated the last five years to compliance, AML, and fraud prevention. 🛡️

Today, Maya brings this valuable experience to her role at Pontica, helping create secure and trusted processes while continuously growing her expertise in the field.

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through sports and getting lost in a good book. 📚
