𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝘃 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 ⛴️

We’re excited to share that the Sea-Cargo vessel Trans Hav successfully entered dry dock this Sunday – marking the project’s first milestone.

✅ All heavy and oversized equipment was brought onboard ahead of docking
✅ The upper part of the rotor sail foundation has been installed
✅ The new RoRo space structure is now 80% complete
✅ Exhaust system modifications are progressing as planned
✅ New propeller blades being installed this week

🎓 Stödig Ship Management at NTNU Ålesund!

Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting the BSc students in Shipping Management at NTNU Ålesund to share insights from the maritime industry with the next generation of business professionals.

The session began with a short presentation highlighting key aspects and players in the shipping industry. This was followed by a hands-on group exercise, giving students the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned and engage in discussion.

Two weeks ago, Stödig had the pleasure of hosting this year’s second Top 3 Conference in beautiful Gdansk, bringing together captains and senior officers from across the fleets of our partners.

The conference provided an important arena for sharing operational experiences, aligning expectations, and strengthening the collaboration between ship and shore. From open discussions to targeted workshops, we facilitated knowledge exchange that contributes to safe and efficient operations.

A big thank you to all who participated – your insights and engagement are what made this event such a success.

🌏 Two inspiring weeks in the Philippines!

Stödig Ship Management representatives recently visited the Philippines, and what a rewarding trip it has been.

🚢 We had the pleasure of meeting the next generation of officers at DMMA Maritime University in Davao – we’re looking forward to welcome our future cadets onboard soon!

🚢 We also hosted another Stödig Chemical Cargo Course, offering tailored training and knowledge-sharing for 25 Seatrans chemical tanker crew members. Always a privilege to support continuous learning at sea.

🚢 The trip concluded with a 2-day seminar for 120 Stödig crew members on leave – focusing on best practices onboard and seafarers’s rights and benefits.

And of course, congratulations to the Sea-Cargo team for “wiping the floor” with the rest of us during the Stödig Bowling Championship 🎳

CSOV Norside Cetus has just been upgraded at Fjellstrand Shipyard, with 10 brand-new single cabins added at the aft ⛴️

This impressive project was completed in just three weeks – a fantastic collaboration between Stödig, the shipowner, the skilled team at Fjellstrand, and the hardworking crew onboard ⚡

The new cabins offer enhanced comfort and privacy for clients living onboard during wind farm operations, creating a more enjoyable and accommodating environment at sea 🌊

A huge thank you to everyone who made this happen so efficiently and to such a high standard! 🧡

We are proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Polish Ocean Lines (POL). This partnership is centered around exploring future opportunities in shipping, leveraging SSM’s expertise in vessel management and operations in several shipping segments to support POL’s strategic examination on future growth as vessel owners.

Under this MoU, SSM will collaborate with POL on critical aspects such as concept development, vessel budget planning, yard and equipment selection, market analysis, and establishing frameworks for commercial and technical management.

This cooperation underscores both parties’ commitment to quality decision-making and market competitiveness. At SSM, we are proud to support POL in this strategic journey and look forward to achieving success together.

From this year’s Officers’ Conference and Christmas Celebration in the Philippines 🎄🇵🇭

The event focused on crew well-being, covering health, harassment, and legal rights, with great cadet participation. It all wrapped up with a fun Christmas party in Manila, complete with karaoke! 🎤
