The Shop Attendant is responsible for taking care of the onboard shops and guests by implementing Company Shop Service standards, with the aim of achieving maximum sales results, the highest level of guest satisfaction, and the development of their own talent and commitment, while fully complying with Company policies and procedures.
Reporting directly to the onboard Shop Manager, the Shop Attendant on Company vessels is responsible for:
Customer Service and Sales: Applies sales, service, and merchandising techniques to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales performance.
Promotions: Informs guests about current offers, promotions, and benefits to encourage purchases.
Merchandise Management: Ensures products are properly protected against theft, correctly priced, displayed, and replenished according to the established layout.

You will build relationships of trust with guests, acting as their point of

experiences guests care about most.
• You will overcome objections and close sales, booking products and

• You will take an active part in onboard revenue meetings and proactively
propose new ideas to boost products and services.
• You will apply the retail levers that impact sales, visual display, staffing,

Work Location: On board the passenger ships of the Flet of Cruise Company.

Contract Of Employment for candidates: full time fixed term of 5 months + or - 1, followed by two months off covered by unemployment (following your Country specific rules) and followed in turn by another 5 months + or - 1. In total an average of 8 months per year worked and 4 months off, covered by unemployment (following your Country specific rules).

Salary per month r: your gross monthly salary will be € 2791 (plus an additional variable bonus based on the agreed targets of € 1050 upon reaching 100% of the target) for each month of navigation including conglobate wage, navigation indemnity, supplementary navigation indemnity, Christmas and Eastern bonus, leaves (*), compensatory leave (*) and severance pay (*) you will accrue during the period on board.
The amounts marked with (*) will be settled at the end of the contract. The other competences will be paid monthly by the 15th day of the following month.

As per below Requirements - REQUAREMENTS-Duties & Responsibilities on the Position:

1.By mutual arrangement with the Staff Engineer, to be on board the vessel at any time the Staff Engineer is absent from the ship.
2. Be Directly responsible toward the Staff Engineer for each work performed in the engine room and for the maintenance and condition of the Main Diesel Engine and Emergency Diesel Engine, in particular the pneumatic system, clutch system, main propeller shaft, Simplex system and oil report, bilge separator, main fuel system and bunkering.
3. Assign maintenance and repair duties to his/her dependent personnel and actively supervise in any overhaul and repair work.
4. Inspect all assigned work in progress, and on completion, assure that manpower is utilized to the fullest extent, that work is executed properly in accordance with acceptable standards and that no wastage of materials occurs and upkeep of the department.
5. During his watch he/she has to control the proper disposals of all refuse, rags etc. to avoid fire and other hazards during and after work.
6. To train personnel assigned to his engine watch (particularly new personnel) to follow safe working practices, ensuring that functions are fully recognized by each man and that work done and the manner of performance conforms to established standards. Supervises and works in close cooperation with the 2nd and 3rd engineers, engine cadet and engine ratings, being also responsible for their on-the-job training, thus ensuring safe working conditions .

*. Ensures the correct maintenance of the vessel through routine inspections, reporting any nonconformities in writing.
*. Checks that the colour schemes, types of paint used, and adequate safety precautions for personnel and equipment is observed. Also ensures that the correct safe disposal of all refuse, rags etc. is observed to avoid fire and other hazards during and after work.
*. Ensures control over the issue and use of materials to prevent waste.
*. Trains subordinates to follow safe working practices, ensures that functions are fully recognized by each person and that work is done in a manner that conforms to established company standards. *
