⚓ A Milestone for STS Operations in Varna, Bulgaria
We are pleased to share that Maritime Shipping Bureau (MSB) had the role of preparation of the Ship-to-Ship (STS) Operation Procedure for the transfer operation between MT Manila I and MT Erdek, to be carried out at Varna Anchorage, Bulgaria.
This operation represents an important milestone, as it is the first STS operation of this type to be carried out at Varna Port.
The MSB team has developed the operation-specific procedure with a strong focus on:

🔹 Detailed mooring and operational arrangements
🔹 Ship-to-ship communication and coordination
🔹 Emergency response and contingency arrangements
