This year, Lent and Ramadan begin at the same time. A powerful reminder of our shared values of faith, sacrifice, prayer, and reflection.
For Christians, Lent marks a sacred season leading up to Easter — a time of fasting, repentance, and spiritual renewal.
For Muslims, Ramadan is a blessed month of fasting from dawn to sunset, deep prayer, charity, and drawing closer to God and there will be an Eid Holidays after Ramadan.
Though our traditions differ, the heart of these seasons is beautifully similar:
