The following is an example of your tour:

Please note, the order of the activities may change however you will do all of the activities listed below.

Day 1:

You will be picked-up from our hostel in CAMPO GRANDE at 10:30am and can expect to arrive to your accommodation by 6:00pm. Along the way, you are transferred to a jeep for a jeep safari where you have the chance to see wildlife and many species of birds. Once you arrive to your lodge you will meet your guide who will explain the tour itinerary and all activities ahead. After a hot dinner, you will be taken on a night boat safari where your guide will help you spot wildlife in the dark. Duration: 1 hour

Day 2

Expect to wake up with birdsong for your first tour day. After breakfast your guide will organize tours in groups of max 8-9 people. The first activity is Piranha Fishing! We supply traditional fishing equipment then it’s up to you to reel in as much piranha as you can. Afterwards, we then head back to the lodge to cook the fish for you to taste. Duration: 3 hours

In the afternoon, your guide will organize the second tour of the day, Boat Safari! Here you have the opportunity to see the aquatic birds and animals of the Pantanal, as well as learn about the ABOBRAL RIVE. Don’t be afraid to ask questions! Afterwards, we then head back to the lodge for a hot dinner. Duration: 2 hours

In the evening, you have the opportunity to relax at the lodge by the ABOBRAL RIVE and chat with your fellow travelers. It’s been a long day!

Day 3

Wake up early for a hearty breakfast, and if it is your last day, pack your bags for a whole day of exciting activities. If you are staying a 4th day, you just have to be prepared for adventure.

After a 1 hour jeep safari you will be ready to begin your first activity of the day, Bush Walking. Along the way, your guide will introduce you to a wide variety of medicinal plants and help you spot elusive birds, reptiles and animals whilst explaining the diverse ecology of the area. Duration: 2 hours.

At approx. midday, we then head to the campsite. Here you are provided your last hot lunch and have approx an hour rest time to lay in hammocks and enjoy the calmness of the area before jumping back into the jeep and heading to the main street (Buraco das Piranhas) where your transport will be waiting to pick you up to take you to Campo Grande, Corumba or Bonito.

If you’re not leaving us, in the afternoon, you can then go Horse Riding in the jungle to look for more animals and birds.

Finally, we head back to the lodge to have dinner. In the night you will enjoy the final night safari trip, looking for night animals. Don’t forget your torch!

Day 4

On your final day, we head back into the jungle to go bush walking in a different area. This will be your last lunch in the campsite and final chance to see wildlife. After your siesta in the campsite we bring you back to civilization and assist you to continue your trip to Campo Grande, Corumba or Bonito.

The 5 day tour includes an adventure day. You can enjoy wild nature, go hiking deep in the jungle and in the swamp. It provides you with more possibilities to watch animals, and learn about special plants. You can really feel the magnificent landscape, and it is really an incredible experience.
